THE LEMONADE STAND

What better way to show what your company can do than to actually allowing people to experience it? This is exactly what Yellow Pages' Lemonade Stand campaign did by only using company services to promote the small business. The results? Converting almost 2,000 in the campaign's first week. 

TEN THOUSAND COFFEES

Lean In Canada's mission is to connect like-minded individuals across Canada. There are two challenges with this: one being that the organization is 100% volunteer-run with no budget, and the second being that Canada is huge. Luckily, in today's world connecting with people doesn't need to be in-person. With this in mind, Lean In Canada launched a members-only hub on Ten Thousand Coffees to allow our target to connect over coffee - no matter where they are. Virtual coffees are a thing!

Depending on volunteers, members and some great marketing materials for promotion, the hub generated 265 unique conversations, almost 2,000 individual messages and about 200 coffee meetings all within the first month of launching. 

THE EXCHANGE

The Exchange is a content development solution. It is an "exchange" of ideas, encouraging respectful debate and includes opinion pieces on topics of concern to our community. Authors come from around the world, representing many cultural, religious and political backgrounds.


The Exchange is also a solution to criticism that CIJA was not open to dialogue or divergent opinions. It was built to offer a place for differing and varied opinions within its community to speak with one another, fulfilling a need not available previously or elsewhere.


Within two years of launching, The Exchange hosted over 200 active contributors and increased CIJA's average monthly web traffic by 50%. It is now in its fifth year running, and continues to be central to CIJA's marketing efforts. 

CIJA CONNECT

In November 2015, CIJA became the first organization of its kind worldwide to offer a digital mobilizer program for advocates. Through rewards for completing various tasks online, CIJA mobilizers were offered assorted give-aways and an opportunity to be part of a larger (and safe) growing community online.
